This is a critical role on our project-based teams that requires someone with professional instructional design experience, leading and managing ID projects. This is not a role to enter the instructional design field. You must have experience outside of education/higher education and have managed projects from beginning to end, including timelines, tasks/deliverables, quality assurance, etc. We're looking for longevity in this position, someone who would be interested in joining our team full-time if the fit is right. If you're looking for a short-term gig, check out our Contract Instructional Designer/Developer role below.
NOTE: A portfolio is required to be considered for an opportunity.
We're looking for a seasoned Project Manager to drive our instructional design projects from kickoff through launch. You will be the glue between clients, subject-matter experts, designers, developers, and stakeholders, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and on budget, while also meeting our high-quality standards. With at least 5 years of project-management experience (specifically in instructional design or e-learning), you’ll bring strong organization and people skills, along with a creative mindset. You’ll work ~10-15 hours/week and will work across multiple client projects.
This part-time, W2 opportunity requires that you have a permanent address in Kentucky and able to work on an Eastern time zone schedule from (10:00 AM to 2:00 PM).
This role supports our clients in writing scripts, course curricula, providing copyediting, and developing transcripts. You will be supporting several projects, with each day looking a bit different than the day before.
This is a writing-focused role. We're not looking for designers or developers. You will support the content side, not the design side.
Interested in joining our freelance ID network? As a client services organization, we often need instructional design talent to write, design, and develop story-driven learning content. At Story Arc Learning, we have a strong culture driven by collaboration, creativity, and a joy for what we do. If you'd like to be considered for freelance instructional design opportunities, access our form below. You must be based in the US and available during regular business hours in the Eastern time zone.
Please note: This is an open network, if there's a match. We'll reach out, but you may not hear from us right away. We continuously evaluate submissions.
